  Letters To The Editor Sun, 12/26/2021      Editor, What pleasure to read in the opinion page of the SMDR, Mr. Ezekiel Enriquez Sr.'s articles, especially Wednesday's on the subject of the San Marcos River problems. And I agree with him because the out-of-town investors, or global investors with tons of money, have not only ruined the natural beauty of our river and hill country, but have also caused a nightmarish engineering problem for the local traffic. However now the city and state, and federal government, will have a great opportunity to steal more land under some pretense and or claim eminent domain against property owners near the streets in order to widen them to  accommodate people coming from other high tax paying states. And please look at The once naturally beautiful Gate Way to our Hill Country. It has become one long continuous rock and gravel quarry all along Interstate 35.   Letters To The Editor Sun, 01/31/2021  Sunday, January 31, 2021 Editor, I understand politics, religion, and law, they all go hand in hand and are inseparable. In every nation and cultures, their people are supposed to be guided by social principles that are based on their religious beliefs and customs. Every nation serves a god of some kind or other. These people even build their houses and building structures in the design and pattern of their gods' habitat, palaces and kingdoms here on earth. In the absence of their gods' presence, these people even worship these structures as if they were the gods' themselves. America from its founding to its present day ... is no different from ancient pagan days. The evidence to this truth is all around us and how can you deny it? We are a mixed people like everyone else and how can we hide America's paganism now?   Letter To The Editor Sun, 05/10/2020 - 12:00am Sunday, May 10, 2020 Editor, In 2007, I wrote a letter to the San Marcos Daily Record, Mr. Ray Rowe, the editor at the time, printed it. I was extremely glad that he allowed it even though it was controversial. In that letter, I told of a dream that I had been given and what a voice of man with authority had said to me in the loudest of form in that dream. I told him that this phrase that was said to me was a rebuke from heaven said in code and Spanish to me. This is what the voice said “Haber, Cuantos Centavos del Sol Quedan?" For 3 weeks, I was shaken to the core and every day I researched to decipher or interpret the meaning to this phrase. After 3 weeks, I was able to decode this rebuke and this is the translation to it in English, “Let's see how many sun worshipers are left in the end?"   Racism Remains Serious Problem In Amercia Sun, 09/29/2019  Letter to the Editor Sunday, September 29, 2019 Editor, Thanks for printing Mr. Frank Arredondo’s letter for Sunday September 22nd, 2019 edition, the history that he pointed out is still prevalent today. I agree that Racism is and has been a serious problem in America and throughout the world. Every segment of society has tasted the venom of this degrading practice. However, Big Boys and Girls in politics should know how the Game is played. Politics has always been a dirty game and it hasn’t change from ancient days. Mr. Arredondo and others, especially Mr. Ruben Becerra our Hays County Judge should know and be aware that racism does exist and they are in positions to correct or change these evils and that is why they got into office.
